This favored perennial forms a clump with leaves are stiff and dark green, almost succulent and large, continuously blooming flowers. The yellow daisy-like flowers are 2”-3” in diameter and may be single or double. The double form we are offering blooms all summer and into the fall. Growth is vigorous, but plant is somewhat shortlived. Tolerates dry conditions as well as salt and wind exposure. Will also grow in shallow or chalky soils. Succeeds in urban environments and rooftop gardens since it tolerates poor soil and blasting heat. Good for cut flowers. Seeds resemble ticks, hence the common name. Can seed abundantly.
