blue star creeper
new, ground cover, rock garden, sun - part shade
Australia
This little creeping ground cover forms a flat carpet of tiny green leaves, with powder blue flowers blooming sporadically throughout the summer. Leaves are lightly variegated with a smudge print design. Good for planting between paving stones, in the rock garden or as a lawn substitute. Fast growing and aggressive enough to grow as an annual in colder regions, but not invasive owing to its propensity not to seed. Tolerates foot traffic.
